I was once you.

I was a hunched-backed, sedentary writer who rarely got up from her desk for more than a cup of coffee. My fitness was spotty and occasional through my 50s. Concerned about aging, I pivoted at 59.

I became an ACE-certified personal trainer just shy of my 60th birthday. 

At 60, I was certified in Tai Chi. 

At 61, I added TRX certification. 

At 62, I completed my first Mat Pilates Training and 200 yoga hours. 

At 64, I completed a Nutrition and Healthy Living certificate.

At 65, I became a Yoga Medicine Registered Therapeutic Specialist (RYT-500). 

At 66, I’m stronger than ever, hiking with much younger friends and enjoying the convenience and flexibility of home workouts.

My arthritis pain has abated. Now, I love challenging myself as I make progress and work on my 1,000 yoga hours.
